| We need to rediscover it quickly. We were almost embarrassed today. We should and could have finished that Bulls side off with a big score. They were a man down and were massively short of ideas.
It was the same against Quins. Wigan think they've done enough mid-way and switch off.
We won't even get to Wembley or Old Trafford, let alone win there, if we continue in this casual vein. Some bunch of jokers will knock us out before we even meet any of the big guns.

It happened a few times last season tbf.
We've still got enough quality in the side to win the GF

| I don't think you've lost your killer instinct as your not doing bad in super league or the challenge cup.
Maybe looking a little tired IMO.

| It was just one of those games. Bradford played the best they have all season. And we were well below par, probably due to thinking it was going to be a walkover. Previous years we'd have lost that game, but not anymore, not under the current regime. Yes we could have done better but sometimes that's how games pan out.

totally agree with you. I posted the same thing after the quins games and got greif. We were totally woeful today and again let a team back in who had no right to be let back in. we blew try opportunites yet again, the same peple yet again responsible, the tomkin brothers. we must learn from our mistakes as it will cost us soon. in Wigan's defence Ganson's complete not control of the bradford offside and goal line defence was unbelievble.

I certainly think it's the case that a number of unforced errors by players (who need to examine their performances closely) made things a lot easier for Bradford. I know it was windy, but it wasn't wet.
Too many knock-ons, some very sloppy work around the play-the-ball, too many passes going to ground and way too many missed tackles - all of that combined to reduce our territorial advantage quite dramatically. When we were playing through the sixes, even just driving it up via the pack, you could plainly see how woeful Bradford actually were. They were camped near their own line and the only tactic they had was to keep hoofing it into the wind on the third tackle. Yet still the scores were almost embarrassingly close by the end, because every so often - as regular as clockwork - some Wigan berk would turn over possession through lack of concentration. A couple of the Bradford chip-throughs near our line weren't even chased down.
I'm not sure I can accept that Wigan were tired. Their last two matches have been cakewalks. I think there's a danger that some real complacency is creeping in. Maguire is supposed to be a master of psychology. Time for him to show it.

| I just think it was a scrappy game littered with mistakes from both teams. After the sending off I think we assumed it'd be much easier than it turned out to be, Finch alluded to that in his post match interview. I'd say it was a poor performance, but that we didn't really look like losing (although I'll admit to be slightly worried with about 15 to go) and in the end we won. A classic it was not, but in the cup a win is a win, I'll take that every time!

| Very poor performance I thought.
MM will be going ape at the lack of cohesion in midfield and Goulding must not play left side again IMO.

| Think the conditions played a big part in today's game. It was really windy. The tries we score out wide come from long cut-out passes and faceballs to dummy runners but we saw passes like that go to ground on more than one occasion so that aspect of our game had to be more or less abandoned. It was still a pretty sloppy performance and we'll need to be a lot better to beat Hull KR next weekend
