Quote Harold Rigby Jnr="Harold Rigby Jnr"Yes reffy - I think we can say we will score a pon full of tries this season but I think the top championship coaches, and I mean the likes of Kear and Tubby will also identify some frailties there in the Leigh side where they will feel they can expose us and come up trumps.
The Wigan coaching staff quickly identified it, targeted it and enjoyed quite a bit of success by doing so. I am sure Paul will realise this as well.
My money is on young Brierly to top the Leigh try scoring charts, with Brown not far behind. Both will score plenty of tries on the back of young Ridyards creativity who incidently looks like he has gained one or two extra pounds whilst out injured.
The player who has impressed me the most so far has been Liam Kay. He can count himself unlucky not to still be playing in the top league. Howeer I am happy he is playing for Leigh.'"
Nobody understands and analyses our own strengths and weaknesses (and all teams have them) more than our own Head Coach Paul and his staff.
The amount of science and video analysis that goes into reviewing the games by Paul and Neil Jukes is really impressive and has really opened my eyes as to just how professional and smart these guys are and how hard they work leaving nothing to chance.
The data they collect, collate and give to our players following each and every game and the way they monitor every single aspect of performance both individually and collectively as a team is pretty damn good. I had no idea the professional game had so much science involved until I've been privileged to see what our guys do on a day to day basis.
Some great coaches in the Championship and we have one of the best in my opinion and the bonus is he's young, British and best of all a leyther who led from the front as a player never taking a backward step and he's doing the same as coach taking this club forward at great pace.
