Just hope he doesn't get burnt out. When King and Korkidas are back I would be tempted to drop him back into the second row. Although that would be harsh on Mariano who has been superb.

sure after the xmas match away at leeds kear said that paul johnson would turn out to be in the same mould as jamie peacock and james graham a british prop that could go the full 80 minutes , although i dont think he has the size yet hes certainly going a long way to proove kears comments were correct hes a workhorse theres no doubt

Indeed - as impressed as I've been with Mariano, Howarth and Dean, I'd have to say that P.Johnson has been the stand-out of the young British players we signed for this season; he has the heart of a lion, a phenomenal work-rate and very rarely comes up with errors. I agree with Mr Kear - this lad has a bright future.

He has been very good, our best signing over the winter he has the potential to make it to the very top of the game.

he doesn't play like a second rower though. The benefit he will get with more props back will be that he can be spelled a bit more often.

His work rate is immense, mistakes are virtually nilllllll.
Speaking to him last night, he says he is loving every minute and when I mentioned where Wakey were next Friday, he said he couldn't wait.

Deserved his try to make it 50 points yesterday.

He looks a very good player and he gets more than his fair share of smashings for some reason. Hope he can keep it up

Been my favourite player all season , impressed in pre season and hasn't had an off game since IMO .

Is that not because he's played all his games at prop, not meaning to sound like a smarty pants...but
