After reading whats happening with regarding other teams for next season on the recruitment front its seems we are light years behind.

Firstly I know we don't have the finances to compete for the bigger NRL names but how can a team like Salford sign a player like Luke Patten before the likes of ourselves?

Surely we are a bigger club and a bigger pull for a player overseas with our background/heritage etc.

Its time the club looked forward and gave us all something to be positive about for next season with a top signing,We obviously had some funds to bring Shane Tronc over who must have been on a fair wage as he made the Queensland origin train-on squad on a couple of seasons ago.

Time for a clear out of sub standard Aussies and 2nd rate project players before we all get too fed-up and not even consider season tickets for next season or buying a new shirt.

We need a quality fullback which Luke Patten is an A1 player and will stand out next season(I'd even would have pulled out the stops to get Ritchie Mathers),Loose Forward and a stand-off that doesn't go hiding when things go bad.

Just seen on the BBC website Chris Nero is available for next season,He's the kind of player we should be in for as he can play centre/backrow and isn't a sky high price signing.

Always looks a decent player who can tackle and score tries.

Get moving board.

Don't agree about Full back. Murphy is already good and will be better than Mather in one season in my opinion.
Stand off/ scrum half I agree.

Back row needs an overhaul but I'd keep Morrison.

I agree that we should go for Nero but if he is fed up at loosing next week then i am not sure that he will want to play for us.

Also do we have the quota space for him?

As for Salford signing Pattern. I think that they think that they may struggle to get a franchise so they are hoping to make a good start toi the season and be near the top of the table so that the RFL will not kick them out.

Nero's after bigger money than the Bulls are prepared to pay apparently. He's steady at best too. You can do better.

No to Nero! He is no better than we already have.

First and foremost we need a SH, then two new second rowers to replace Johnson and Kirmond and a Hooker. Forget the backs, we'll just have to make do with what we've got

I feel that one posistion we dont need to strengthen is hooker. If we sign a new scrum half then obst can revert back to Hooker and then i would give Latu a new contract meaning that we can have Obst and Latu rotating with young Davey as cover.

Sorry i should have stated that i'd let Latu go.

Twice as good as any centre we have at present.Millard shows very little of the 'magic' tag he came with and as for the other centre spot do I need to say anymore about Gleeson.

I'd have Murphy in the other centre berth for next season as the kid looks one of the biggest prospects wev'e had for some time and I still think the fullback spot needs re-accessing as theres no pace or even positioning from Blaymire this season.

One other player i'd have if available is the New Zealand Warriors loose forward Michael Luck,He's a bit of a Dallas Johnson wheres he's no giants but his workload and ball handling is exactly what we are screaming out for and also not an Origin or Test player so not of the highest wage structure I guess.

He is just a fast second rower playing in the centre and getting good ball. If he played for us he would look poor.

To be fair if we signed half the Aussie test team they would look poor playing for us.
