Just picture the scene, January 2nd, your New Year's Resolution is to shift the weight you put on over Xmas, so you join a local gym. Nowt wrong with that!
You sweat your nads off for two hours in the gym, have a shower and feel good about yourself and head towards the door to go home for a well earned rest..............when one of the staff recommends you purchase one of Big Dave's sweaty meat & potato Poole's pies for only £1.50

Really? Other than a free advert in the local rag it's a nothing story. Most people go to the gym to lose weight or keep in trim. You get the odd fat git who'd take him up on his offer like my workmate as he only goes to look at the skirt.
Does this mean he will put treadmills in local pie shops for a £1 a go. |
