What was the difference between O'Donnells challenge on Saturday night and the one Cross got banned for?

O'Donnell has received a caution only.

I'm going purely from memory of both incidents but I think it was the positioning of the defender's arms.

There was more than a hint of a forearm in Cross's contact whereas O'Donell's was more with an open palm, a push if you like. O'Donnell was equally as late but not as bad, IMO.

....................and if anyone knows about late/clumsy/reckless challenges it's you mate!

G1 has a point Gotcha but just to add NEVER expect any kind of consistency from the disciplinary and the confusion just goes away.

I think O'Donnell is an early contender for man of steel, the bloke is a beast! He must have put in about 10 dominant, big hits on saturday night.

I'd put M.Monahagn on that list aswell.
