After watching them last night its clear that there miles ahead of everyone else, We had the micky took out of us the other week after Wigan spanked us on Sky, but they've done it to Huddersfield, Saints and now Leeds since then.
My point is, why aren't coaches watching what Wigan are doing and trying to copy then, not only copy them but maybe even improve on some of there ideas.
Obviously we all haven't got the quality of players they have but surely coaches can try and copy them.

Wigan are a pleasure to watch this seasonI think a lot of coaches do try the same tactics ect, however one word springs to mind Tomkins!! he is arguably the best player in SL imo. It will be interesting to see how Wigan go next season though if they lose both their half backs.

Its this season that matters at the moment though

True but Bet Lynch is right, the players that are leaving are top quality, there gonna be real hard to replace, I wasn't overly impressed with Lima at the start of the season, but he was quality last night.

Wigans movement is that good it looks like they have about 20 players on the pitch when they fire the ball out wide, with all there dummy runners.
The only dummy runners we have are Clinton and Netherton lol

we've (wires) beaten them once already.... on their own ground .......when we were average at best.

Not taking anything away from them..they are playing some great rugby...but it was a very poor Leeds outfit last night.....toe to toe....we can beat them.

Playing us and beating us toe to toe is all well and good but arent you known as the biggest bottlers in the league. You never seem to win when it matters.

I hate it when i have to agree with Phil Clarke about Wigan.

If it were that simple, why don't pub teams simply copy Wigan?

The fact is that what we see in a game represents a small fraction of what they do, the performance in the game is the [uoutcome[/u of the the process and systems you would want to copy not the processes and systems themselves.

It was great sat in their crowd at the Etihad last week, cracking atmosphere, and a joy to watch a team play rugby with such flair, even the drumming is quite enjoyable when done well, now that's something I never thought I'd say.
I'm quite looking forward to getting Josh Charnley back from his loan spell with them, he seems to be coming along quite well!
