Not a bad effort given no match preparation but need better discipline. 2nd half a distinct improvement.

Sorry, but still can't get excited by the shirt.

Super result and v happy about it. Promises a good season for us given how bad we were at the end of the first half and how easily we won in the end. Thought Widnes look solid and well coached and v dangerous on the edges. Will score a lot against better teams. I hope Abdul can get himself to game fitness as I want him to succeed and he was so good in SL for the Broncos.  Amazing work from him to do 80m in that condition. 


 


Rewatching the game again on YouTube and good lord the presentation is ######. Ref's mic so loud and a commentator who struggles with identifying players and their names. Words mispronounced so far in first 10 mins- Widnes, Demetriou, Gillard, coup. FFS. Just confused Tchamambe and Adebiyi too which is impressive. 


 


Brilliant to have a good crowd and the Cappagh stand has a much better view but a much worse selection of food offerings. Couldn't work out how to go to the decent food trucks and get a pizza or steak sandwich so was stuck with the rubbish pie options upstairs. Anyone else note the step down in the food options?


Agree about the shirt.  though it does look ok on its own merits. 

The lady ref always gets blasted by the crowd but I think we dodged a few bullets early doors. A few of our new big fellas will need to be a touch more discriminating on when they go over the top or hold on or we could pick up a few sin bins and penalties. When we tidied up our play they found it really difficult to break us down. Thought the stream was really good. Lots of different camera angles - like most though I too got a bit exhausted by the shouty ref. Dial her down in the mix next time I say.

Does anyone know if the tickets for the Wests CC game are available or do we just rock up?

Both sides will be there at the end of the season for the playoffs
